Insatiable desire!

I am fascinated by the natural beauty
The beauty within unseen
But behold what I can see with my eyes.

My eyes see everything pleasant
My nose breathes the aromatic fragrance of the nature
My tongue tastes the sweetest dish
My skin feels the softest touch
My ears hear the melody of tunes
Yet I am unsatisfied.

I want to build castle in the air
Not satisfied with the skyscraper.
I want to buy latest i-Phone and install the best app,
Not satisfied with the old.

I want luxuries
Not satisfied with comforts.
I want gold,
Not satisfied with silver.

I want to go to JAPAN
Not satisfied in Bhutan.
I want dollar in my account,
Not satisfied with Ngultrum.

I want to fly
Not satisfied with walking.
But when I look deep within
Who are still begging, starving, paralyzed,
Blind, dumb, deaf, and destitute
But again why I want more,
I feel desires are insatiable even at the cost of world’s total resources.

All I blamed then desire,
I reflected, and consulted few masters,
Where this desire could arise?
He answered it is within your heart
Then I seared for my heart,
I cut all the parts of my body
But it is there not to be found,
Then I learnt that it is abstract
I felt empty and nothing more
All created, mended, and animations of our own self
Don’t cling more, you too can be not satisfied.
