The galloping blaze

O' Blaze! you galloped at an alarming pace
I have just the feet to depend on running
I know lots about the woods as my home
But you burnt it down to ashes.

Deer runs in the backdrop of blazing fire

I can run at least a little far
But I can’t assure of the right direction
At last I may be entangled in the blaze
And just be at mercy of it.

I survive by the grass
I drink from the streams
I rest in the shades of the trees
But I am deprived of it now.

I did no harm
I said nothing
Nothing at all
But you had me blazed.

I shed thousands of tears
Just to see myself at no avail
But in the extreme heat and smoke
Ultimately to surrender my hope.

The blaze gallops as the horse in a race
I have not observed as yet even in a dream
What a terrible circumstance I witness now
But to forget all in a worry of getting burnt.

May I pray this instant
Of to no avail and hope
That souls to be reborn
In the realm of western paradise!

OM MANI PADME HUNG! Please chant this mantra once and dedicate the merits to the lost souls of thousands in the recent fire.
